Characteristic Beliefs:

The focus of our faith is not found in a written creed, but in a dynamic relationship with our Lord.

We believe in God the Creator and that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

We believe that the Holy Spirit gives us new life and dwells in every Christian.

We hold the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.

We see in the New Testament the norm for churches of every generation.

We are part of a movement within the broader church seeking to restore New Testament faith and practice, that there might be unity among all Christians and that the world might know God through Jesus Christ.

We recognize the autonomy of the local church while at the same time we want to have significant relationships with other churches for the sake of God's mission in the world.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion) each Sunday as the central part of worship. Because we partake together as a church body, we also reaffirm our unity in Christ. All Christians are invited to share at the Lord's Table, regardless of church affiliation.

We practice the scriptural baptism of immersion in water, the New Testament picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
